Chris's schedule for the current clerkship is 545am-6pm which means getting up around 430 or 5 am depending on the hospital. I tried to encourage him to have a quiet date night at the house. His response was that the purpose of our monthly date is to force us to get out of the house and experience life together. So we did just that!
Chris booked tickets for Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, showing at 8pm August 30th. (A few weeks ago some friends had kindly invited us to see this years free for all, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. We so enjoyed our time that we decided to go back.) After work, we had just enough time to spend about 15 minutes in the modern section of the Photo museum before heading to dinner at Ruby Tuesday. Amazingly it was the first time that Chris and I ordered the same entree. Not surprisingly though, I still ended up eating off his plate - his sides were better! :) The play was good, not great, but we left more cultured I suppose. Sadly, no pictures. I really wanted a picture of us under our Two-man umbrella in the rain but it was nearly midnight and Chris was unwilling to wait for someone to take our picture. It was nearly midnight and 4:45 in the morning was approaching quickly. I must say- I am so glad Chris insisted that we get out- we really had a great time despite the lack of sleep it imposed on us the following day.
