Cherry Blossom Festival

The plan this time was to take Leigh to see the cherry blossoms and ride on a paddleboat in the Tidal Basin. Unfortunately the winds were too strong or something so the paddleboat place was closed. We still enjoyed the cherry blossoms, which were beautiful and enjoyed a little picnic lunch. Many people go to the National Mall and walk around, but I think the Tidal Basin is underappreciated except for during this event. The FDR Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial are absolutely beautiful.
